My son, Robert, was born with an umbilical hernia. This happens when the intestine protrudes through the belly button. We had to wait for him to be able to have surgery. By age three, his belly button/hernia was the size of a golf ball. We went to Primary Children’s Hospital for an umbilical hernia repair.

Now, Robert is eight-year-old and loves to play mine craft.
